I liked how he did it and the stories involved. I liked the themes of being forced to learn to do something that happened to me in my life. Some examples for me were tutoring and having to do taekwondo. It's meaningful to me because it is relatable. Prompt Response:   probly when anybody talks about politics. It shoulnt change you as a person but it kinda does to me. dosnt even matter if its somthing i dont blive in its just weird. Prompt Response:   I believe she should go to somebody else if she's not happy. Do not jump to conclusions based on a single argument or feeling unhappy. You should talk about these things before you cheat or get divorced. There is no excuse to have an affair; it's morally wrong, and it won't make you happy. What is your favorite Homecoming tradition or event?  Prompt Response:  For me, I like seeing the people of the school dress up. It's cool to see the people of this school's creativity and the lengths they will go to dress up. Specifically, seeing the people in the big inflatable dinosaurs and other creatures. Also, the football games are pretty cool even though i dont go Summary: I like seeing the people dressed  up Reflection:  I learned today about the people of our class

  Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on actvities. Select one and tell why.  Prompt Response:  Honestly, I prefer discussions and worksheets. I'm not saying hands-on is worse, but there are some issues it's harder to do and take time. Work sheets are quick and easier to do and learn. Discussions help the class learn and pay attention more to the lesson. All methods can be used effectively, no matter my opinion. Summary: All teaching styles are effective depending on the person and the teacher. Reflection:   I learned about gender roles

Prompt Response:  There's nothing too hard for me that is a cultural expectation. For example, like respecting people, not hard-treating people, right, not hard, always try to do things for the greater good, was hard. Fixing stuff for me is not hard, working is not hard, I'm good and effective at it. So yeah, there isn't really anything that was too challenging to  navigate for me Summary: In my life, there has not been a gender role that has challenged me that much. Do you plan to stay or move away? Explain your reasoning. Prompt Response:  Nothing at all, Atlanta is doing nothing for my future, and I am not doing anything down here. I will not be staying here; I will be going to college in Texas or Colorado. Atlanta plays no role in my life, not one bit. Atlanta is not a good place for me Summary: Atlanta sucks Reflection: I  learned more about myself

  Think about a moment when you challenged your parent(s)’ rules or expectations. How did you feel, and what was the outcome? Prompt Response:  I have two times, I believe, challenged my parents' rules. 1st would be how I dress and the hobbies I do, they don't like me skating, and some people I go out with. I still do these things so the outcome favors me. Second would be how I do education in general. I do good in school, just not perfectly. They wanted me to just do it all and get 100s. This was not the case. I am not perfect, nobody is Summary: I have had two times going against the rules my parents set, both were a success on my part Reflection:  I learned about expectations.

  You’ve been in Multicultural Literature for about 4.5 weeks. How has the class been going for you so far? Prompt Response:   How  has my MC lit class been? I believe it's been going well for me. I understand and comprehend how to do the work. The work is challenging and thought-provoking, but I don't want to quit. I hope the course continues to go this way. Summary:   The  course is good, and I believe it's been going well for me. Reflection:  I learned about cultures.
